First Impression

Dear Stylers,

I feel like it’s been a really long time since I’ve actually “written” a blog post. I am usually strapped for time and just make my way to my computer with just enough seconds to post my newest youtube video. I’m sorry! Today, however, I told myself:  “you have to start putting in a bit more effort ellen”. This means going in depth about my youtube posting this week. Let’s Begin!

I purchased the Hourglass Vanish seamless foundation stick some months ago at Sephora. It costs about $46 for a 0.24 oz sleek bottle. Part of me feels like you’re paying for the packaging as well. Actually, I’m pretty sure of it. To be quite honest, I do really love the foundation (as you can see in my youtube video Here).

The foundation comes in a whopping 26 shades!! (good job hourglass for recognizing that there is more than one shade in the world), mine being the darkest, of course! It also claims to be great for all skin types with a satin finish and the ability to build it up to full coverage. All which I agree with. It also claims to be a foundation and concealer in one, which I also agree with. In fact, because it comes in so many shades, you can get lighter shades to be used as a concealer (if you have the $46 to spend). Overall, this foundation is giving my Kat Von D Lock it Foundation, my holy grail, a run for its money! In case you’re wondering, I am in the shade Deep 81 cool.

Also, if you’re wondering where the heck I’ve been with my fashion posts, don’t worry, they are coming back this summer!

Stylishly, Elle.
