First Impression

Dear Stylers,

I feel like it’s been a really long time since I’ve actually “written” a blog post. I am usually strapped for time and just make my way to my computer with just enough seconds to post my newest youtube video. I’m sorry! Today, however, I told myself:  “you have to start putting in a bit more effort ellen”. This means going in depth about my youtube posting this week. Let’s Begin!

I purchased the Hourglass Vanish seamless foundation stick some months ago at Sephora. It costs about $46 for a 0.24 oz sleek bottle. Part of me feels like you’re paying for the packaging as well. Actually, I’m pretty sure of it. To be quite honest, I do really love the foundation (as you can see in my youtube video Here).

The foundation comes in a whopping 26 shades!! (good job hourglass for recognizing that there is more than one shade in the world), mine being the darkest, of course! It also claims to be great for all skin types with a satin finish and the ability to build it up to full coverage. All which I agree with. It also claims to be a foundation and concealer in one, which I also agree with. In fact, because it comes in so many shades, you can get lighter shades to be used as a concealer (if you have the $46 to spend). Overall, this foundation is giving my Kat Von D Lock it Foundation, my holy grail, a run for its money! In case you’re wondering, I am in the shade Deep 81 cool.

Also, if you’re wondering where the heck I’ve been with my fashion posts, don’t worry, they are coming back this summer!

Everyday Makeup Look

Dear Stylers,

So excited to be sharing this journey with everyone. I have posted my second YouTube video today! It shows you my everyday makeup routine. Very simple and easy. Please bare with me as i was shooting for the first time with lighting and the video looked a bit bright and the light made me look as though i was oily. But i still went ahead and posted it because it is all a learning process and i want us to grow together!. One day, ill look back at it and laugh! If you have not yet subscribed, please do so and comment that you’re a follower of the blog so i can acknowledge you. Video is posted below, Enjoy!

Skin Care Routine

Dear Stylers,

I have missed you too!. Sorry for the late post but had to finish out my degree strong and on a good note. Also, work is a little distracting with all the new changes taking place and i think i am definitely going to have some gray hairs soon if i don’t take a vacation soon.

Anyways, i wanted to share with you guys my skin care routine. I get so many questions on how i keep my skin so clear and i want to show you the items that i cannot live a day without. These items i have been using for a while and trust me, if you have oily or combination skin and tend to wear makeup on a day to day basis, these things right here will become your best friends as they have become mine. They are all also super affordable and if you like, i can share with you my high end products as well. But these beauty musts are budget friendly. “You’re welcome!”

Ps, This week is Beauty Week!
